Afro Jazz is a French hip-hop collective formed in the early 1990s by Daddy Jokno, Jaeyez and Robo. They released the Perle noire maxi in 1996 and the album Afrocalypse (1997), which included production from Diamond D, Buckwild and Da Beatminerz and a guest appearance by Ol' Dirty Bastard. The group opened for Suprême NTM at the Bataclan and members later pursued solo projects, with the collective becoming inactive by the late 1990s.
