Commercial Breaks formed in 2025 and released a self-titled debut album on December 19, 2025. The band recorded much of the record to cassette, followed it with local shows and a KVRX radio interview, and performed a showcase at SXSW 2026. Album credits list David Rawlinson, Lucas Magnus Andrade Martins, Ernesto Angel Gutierrez III, and Doran Rawlinson.
