Matthew Payne released the EP Coyote Howlin Blues in July 2025 and the full-length Better Times on April 17, 2026. He recorded the album with James Stevens at EAR Studio and has performed at songwriter showcases and in-store events. His work has received positive coverage in Americana Highways and he has been awarded local municipal arts funding.
