Formed in 2022, Sad Snack is a queer, nonbinary six-piece known for horn-forward arrangements and energetic, humor-tinged live shows that gained wider attention after a viral cover of The Mountain Goats' "No Children." They released their debut full-length Vending Machine in December 2025 on Sell The Heart Records and received local recognition at 924 Gilman in 2024.
