Founded in 1972 and also billed as the San Antonio Combo and S.A. Country, the group performs weddings, anniversaries, private events and festival stages including Wurstfest. The original lineup included Johnny Schultz (saxophone), Hilbert Schultz (saxophone), Ruby Schultz (drums), Glen Muenchow (accordion) and E.A. Buckholts (bass), and the ensemble has remained active regionally for decades.
