Formed around 2010 as a neighborhood/Dads band in Northwest Hills, Austin, Shotguns Ready grew from driveway rehearsals to regular shows at local venues including the Little Longhorn Saloon. The four-member lineup (Matt McCarty, Ryan Perry, Porter Wilson, Jason Markey) built an 80+ song repertoire and raised over $6,000 in a COVID-era livestream fundraiser for the Little Longhorn Saloon. They primarily perform crowd-pleasing covers spanning rock, country, blues and pop for dances, fundraisers and private events.
