Augustine, is located in the heart of the historic Rainey Street district in Austin. This charming house was built in 1889 by an Augustus Basnett. When converting this old home into a bar, each selection was made true to the history of the building. The colors & textures complement the rich history of Rainey Street and the building, and create a warm and fun atmosphere for it’s patrons. Dark green & brass were utilized as the primary scheme for the bar, generating a timeless ambience for any visitor.
Actually, the name Austin is a derivative of Augustine which is perfect. Augustine embodies what our beloved city Austin is all about. Good times with friends in a laid-back yet sophisticated, fun atmosphere with 300 days of sunshine.
