Star Hill is a recreation of a Texas Hill Country community typical of the early 1900s. All of the buildings have been relocated from around the state and carefully restored for use as wedding, event, and film making facilities.
Star Hill began as a childhood dream of owner/creator Adam Woolley, and was inspired by visits to the early German immigrant settlement of Industry, Texas located near Brenham.
Star Hill is the culmination of years of planning, renovating, and learning. It opened for events in 2004 and continues to be a repository for preservation of historic structures. In essence, it offers an opportunity to honor our heritage while creating a variety of wonderful new experiences and memories.
